From humble beginnings to redefining luxury sleep experiences
Where It All Began
I grew up in a small town in Oregon, where I learned early that if I wanted something, I had to be willing to work for it.
As a teenager, I started a housekeeping business with my sister, and what started as a job became something much more meaningful. I saw firsthand how differently people felt when they walked into a home that was clean, comfortable and cared for. I became fascinated by the little things that could completely change the feeling of a space, especially the bedroom and the simple comfort of a beautifully made bed.
I did not know it then, but those early years would shape so much of what I would eventually create.
From Housekeeper and Odd Jobs to Interior Designer
My love of home led me to study interior design and eventually build a career designing homes, resorts and even private jets.
But bedrooms were always especially important to me. I became increasingly interested not only in how a bedroom looked, but in how it made you feel and how the environment around us affects the way we rest and live.
That curiosity led me to study sleep, textiles, fabrics and construction, searching for ways to create bedding that was exceptionally soft, beautiful, easy to live with and attainable.
Beyond Design
Along the way, I have had the opportunity to share my ideas about home and life through television, speaking and writing.
I spent eight seasons sharing design ideas on television and have written two books, Love Coming Home and How High Can You Soar. While one is about creating a home you love and the other is about creating a life you love, to me they have always been connected.
Both are ultimately about creating environments, choices and experiences that help us live better.
Today, as Founder and CEO of Jennifer Adams, that is still what inspires me.
The Beginning of Jennifer Adams
After years of sourcing fabrics and studying weaving and manufacturing around the world, I created what would become our signature Lux and Eternal Collections.

That original pursuit of extraordinary softness remains at the heart of the Jennifer Adams Collections. But the company has always been about more than bedding. My belief is simple: home should help you feel better. It should be comfortable, welcoming and easy to live in — a place where you can rest, recharge, connect and simply be yourself. That same philosophy remains at the center of the brand today.
